West Houston’s women’s ministry is taking a journey with Pastor Mary Jean this year learning how to “dream bigger”. We’re drawing from the book by Terri Savelle Foy entitled –
“Make Your Dreams Bigger Than Your Memories”.*
Our first meeting in January had us looking at Lot’s wife and considering what she “might” have been had she not ‘looked back’. It’s scary to think about the potential we deny of ourselves because we don’t let go of our past. We were also assigned the task of writing our own obituary.
What do I want to be said about me at my funeral?
Although that sounds a bit morbid, it is a legitimate question that really makes us think and brings focus to our daily decisions.
We’re excited about this journey and invite you to join us the 4th Sunday** of each month for fun, food, fellowship and inspiration. If you don’t attend West Houston you are still welcome to join us and be with other women of like precious faith..
