Our History
Our Mission
WHCC is founded on Ephesians 4:12-13. Our mission is to Engage the Lost, Establish in Faith, Equip to Serve, and Empower to Go forth in the world.
Early Years
Our Founding Pastors are Jack & Mary Jean Pidgeon. God placed a vision in Pastor Jack’s heart to start a church. The Lord spoke to him through Luke Chapter 5:1-11, about "launching out into the deep".
In 1989, they started West Houston Christian Center in their home with 16 people. Church services were held in their living room an overflowed into the dining room.
In 1999, WHCC built our beautiful 700 seat facility which we are proud to say is totally debt free! God is good!
